We understand this will be a disappointment for visitors and their family and we would like to apologise for the inconvenience. We might make the decision to close it off at short notice until safety adjustments have been made. The manufacturers are aware and looking at all possible options to secure the play area. We will remove all elements that have been damaged to avoid any trip hazards and falls. The children’s safety is of utmost importance and we will do everything we can to make sure this play space remains safe to use. Due to wet weather conditions during the installation and with the persisting rain, some of the vinyls of the new Scribble and Wriggle temporary play area in front of Walton Library have started to peel.
